BBQ Block Party

All community members and their families are invited to come to the La Puente Shelter for our annual BBQ Block Party on September 28th at 5:00 PM! We will be grilling up some burgers and hotdogs, with all the fixins! There will also be some family-friendly activities and crafts to enjoy!

The BBQ Block Party is our kickoff to Homeless Outreach, Prevention, and Education (H.O.P.E) Week, which is a series of events meant to bring the community together to learn about homelessness and poverty in the San Luis Valley. Moreover, H.O.P.E. Week highlights community-based programs that alleviate and prevent homelessness.
